Good god, Austin crushed. Homer #1 was a no doubter to deep right. #2 was a towering shot that landed well onto the opposite dirt infield. #3 was a towering shot down the left field line that cleared the fence. In between, one of the two singles nearly killed the pitcher. `

Thanks to Jessie for subbing. Great hitting, and a good 4-3 assist to end the 4th, and a smart cover of 2B on a tricky fly to Stephen in CF to still get an 8-4 force out.
So many big hits. AJ's grand slam underneath Jeff Louie in CF put us ahead after being down 15-3. Stephen hit bombs all night long, including his homer onto the opposite infield and even his first F8, a squared up ball that Jeff in CF broke perfectly on to catch. Harrison crushed all his balls. Annie and Jessie outhit the men OBP-wise: 0.700 vs. 0.625, and we needed every baserunner.
Stephen tweaked his hamstring in the 5th, and Harrison solved the D by putting Stephen at 1B, Chet in LF, and Austin in CF. The ball immediately found Stephen on a pop up down the RF line that so often lands for a hit, then smoothly crossing into foul territory, catching Brad's off-balance throw, and tagging for the out.

Stephen bombed one over the LF fence in the first, then blasted one to RF in the 6th. Austin, though, had the nuclear explosion of the day, a towering shot down the RF line that landed maybe 10 feet from the low fence.

Thanks to Abby for subbing. Joe had the inspiration to bat her leadoff. She alertly covered 2B two or three times on hard grounders up the middle that only Harrison could glove and pitch.
Stephen bombed his homer over the fence, then batted lefty the last time up and hit an opposite field fly off the fence.

Austin's single in the second was over the fence right after Stephen's homer over the fence. Stephen's double in the 3rd was also over the fence but through the trees.
Stephen batted lefty and hit a hard, low liner to the 2B, who made a good catch to end the inning.
With 1 out and runners on 1B and 3B in the 2nd, Mike fielded a comebacker and threw hard to Harrison covering, who caught the ball barehanded and turned the double play.

Ill Eagles, formerly A Flock of Seagals, had won 12 in a row before this.
Mike had a big hit in the first to cash in 2nd and 3rd, but the back breaker was Stephen's grand slam over the fence to put us up 14-2. Poor Austin hit one over the fence to just left of center later for a looooong single.
With 2 runners on, Kris at 3B in the 3rd picked a rocket that short hopped him and threw to 1B to end the inning. Brad at 3B in the 5th similarly ended the inning with a clean pick and throw. Harrison played solid D at SS all game, and Stephen in LC caught a sinking liner in the 2nd. AJ in RC perfectly ran down two balls that looked crushed, while Abby had two solid catches in RF or RC. Richard at P got the 2nd batter of the game out on a hard grounder that hit between his left thigh and his right.

Game called on account of time.
Stephen bombed one over the LC fence, then put one high into the tree. Austin split RC and RF, but the tall grass stopped the ball and kept him to a smart triple, with Stephen on deck and no outs.
Kris hit rockets all day, and Chet bombed one to LC. Both went 4-for-4. Trena had a great 3-for-4 on hard hit balls.
With Mike out, Richard pitched. After perhaps 1 K in the early innings, the Space Force 4th was K, 1B, K, HR, K, with another K to start the 5th, and a final K on fouls in the 6th.
Offensive lineup by Chet - it's his job now if he wants it. Scorekeeping by Alex, which was one less thing to think about. Defensive lineup by an overwhelmed Richard, who finally gave up optimizing the D and instead figured out where the 2 sitting people would go the next inning.
