Austin's first Shark hit was an infield single that he beat out. Next time up, deep bomb to CF that finally rolled to the opposite backstop.
Harrison's homer was a hard, low line drive that got under RCF.

With the bases loaded in the 7th, down one, Trena hit a hard grounder that 2B could not field cleanly, forcing him to take the out at 1B to tie the game. Alex then walked it of with a hard liner over the infield.

Ryan had to leave, so we played 9. Richard let them add subs, so they got to ten. Eh, they're winless on the season.
Trena kept the team afloat with big RBIs in the 1st, 5th, and 6th then Johnny got the huge 3-rbi triple to clear the bases and break the game open.

Harrison had a great day at SS, turning 2 double plays in this game.

Alex had a monster game, back-to-back, 2-rbi, line-drive triples to bring us back from the dead. She also assisted on the final out of the game, a hard grounder to her at 2nd with the tying run on deck. Annie followed both triples with singles to drive Alex in. Johnny also had back-to-back rbi triples to put and keep us ahead.

Ann Wilson watched from the stands and brought watermelon.
For the second week in a row, we played a team on the back end of their doubleheader, and both were shorthanded for the previous game but not ours. Weird. Space Force had a solid 9 including Abby.
Johnny crushed his homer to center, a line drive that probably didn't get 20 feet off the ground. Stephen's bomb was an inside-out shot that finally rolled to the opposite fence.
AJ subbed and had two good catches in RC and an excellent one going back and to his left.
Biggest hit of the day was Alex's double with the bases loaded in the sixth that got us within 1. Trena left early on AJ's deep fly but smartly retreated to avoid getting a double play.
In the 7th, Richard beat out an infield single that the 1B fielded to her right. Johnny advanced Richard to 2B with another infield beater, then Yukio lined a great ball to the outfield that got him to 2B, then Stephen of course ended the game with a clean single. Less night shift, Stephen!

In the 3rd with Joe and Johnny at 2B and 1B, Yukio hit a hard single to the outfield on which Richard coaching 3B held Joe. However, Johnny took a wide turn, and the Dawgs threw behind him, trapping him. As Johnny approached 3B, Joe took off for home, but both got tagged out.
