- A win would have tied us for first, but the loss sent us to a tie
for third.
- Their 5th was painful. Yukio in LC and Richard in RC each dropped easy
balls. Annie at C caught Harrison's relay with a yard to spare, but
the runner slapped it out of her glove. There were maybe two more
grounders that we didn't convert.
- The big problem was offense: a lot of soft flies, two double plays.
Eh, it happens. Harrison hit great, and Mike got on twice, but
everyone else got 0 or 1 hits.

- 5th Base had their bottom three to start the 6th. We got the first two,
then they strung some hits together to threaten, but then Harrison fielded
a hard grounder deep in the 5-6 hole and threw high to Joe, who stretched
and stayed on the bag to get the last out. In the 7th Brad snared a hard
line drive down the line and fielded a hard one-hopper for another out
before Richard in LC caught a low liner to end the game.
- With Titan UP's earlier tie, Sharks needed to win this game and the
next to tie for 1st, a surprising result for a team with 3.5 losses.

- Trena cancelled in the afternoon. Brad cancelled later in the afternoon.
- Big hits in the 7th by Alex and Joe to get on base, then big hits by Chet
and Yukio to tie and win the game. With the pitch in the air, Yukio yelled
"get going" or "score" or something to that effect to Joe at 2B because
he was sure he was swinging, and lined it to deep LC.

- postgame at Dog Haus Biergarten: Joe, Harrison, Tony, Richard
- Holy cr@p Austin bombed the ball. One of the homers was a legit double
that got little leagued into a homer, but the other was a bomb that landed
well onto the opposite infield.
- Chet and Richard went 9-for-9 with 9 runs scored. I tell ya, the bottom
of the order is like another leadoff spot. Also in his 1 inning in LF,
Chet perfectly fielded a fly off the fence on two hops, threw hard to
Harrison, who relayed to Annie to beat the runner by 10 feet at home.

- Top to bottom, they hit great.
- Chet at 1B ended the first with an outstanding dig of a low,
hard throw from Harrison, who himself had made an excellent play
from deep in the 5-6 hole.

- Kent on Dawgs in RC dropped Alex's ball in the 5th to put us up 1, but in
the bottom of the inning put one over to get those 2 back.
- Both Brad in the 5th and Richard in the 6th got forced out at 2B on balls
that their outfielders dropped but recovered on.
- With the bases loaded in the bottom of the 6th and 1 out, Nick Bourquez hit
a low, hard line drive down the right-field line, but Richard, who had just
subbed in for Trena, broke well on it and caught it sliding forward, then
doubled off the runner from first, who was headed to third.
- Trena made a good catch of a liner in the 5th, and Harrison was solid, solid,
solid at SS.
- Austin nearly killed Joey on a liner back up the middle. That must have been
his single.
