Chet pounded his double in the second, perhaps a one-hopper to the fence in left-center.
Top of the order: 10 for 10, and Harrison added 3 for 3 while building the lead.
Kris at 3B made an outstanding stop of a blistering one hopper to his left in the 4th, then finished the inning by snagging a liner. Mike had ~5 assists from P, including the fast Space Force LFer (Jack?) twice to his satisfying frustration.

Kevin subbed on a half-day's notice after Kris confirmed he couldn't play.
Sharks were home but with only 8 at five minutes after game time, we ceded home field. Chet showed up while we were batting, and Trena never showed.
Blue Moon Lounge: Mike, Joe, Richard
In the bottom of the 6th, a Seagal from first trying hard to beat the force slid hard to the right of 2B, but unfortunately Harrison from SS coming across the bag collided with him. Harrison left a play later with blood running down from an open slice on his shin that took ~5 stitches to close.
Stupid basecoaching: on Yukio's hard hit to the outfield in the second, Richard coaching third thought the LC had fumbled the ball away and sent Kevin to home, where a good relay from Sandro got him.

With the Dawgs threatening to break the game open in the 3rd with runners on 1st and 2nd, Brad cleanly fielded a hard, low grounder, stepped on 3rd and threw to 1st for the inning-ending double play
In the 6th, Tony Greicius popped up in foul territory, but Joe caught a cleat or something and dropped it. Tony then popped one into shallow RC, but Kris at 2B on a bad hamstring or such ran it down and caught it over his shoulder. Mike twisted up and struck out the next batter. The #3 batter, who had gotten on safely every time, deliberately took an out with 30 seconds left in the game to get the game to the 7th.
In the seventh, the big tall guy flew out to RC, the next guy got on, then #6 hit a laser at Brad, who caught the liner for out #2 and threw to Joe to get the over-aggressive runner to end the game.

Mike as P on the day: 13 out of 14 shutout innings, ~6 Ks. Harrison at SS gets a lot of credit for this with ~5 assists per game.
Nice rally against a good team that gives us problems even though they somehow don't beat other teams. Yukio had a big 2-out, 2-rbi smash to bring us to 6-5, then Alex in the 7th put us up for good with a hard, deep, line-drive triple that the LF couldn't react to quickly enough.

Key play: in the 4th with runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 out, Steve Broberg grounded a 6-4-3 double play to Harrison-Alex-Joe. Steve looked like he beat the relay, but ump Anthony may have been punishing Abby running from first for going in standing up, which impeded Alex
