Key play of the game: with 2 outs, runners on first and second in the 6th, Chet hit a good hard grounder up the middle that deflected off Dave Seal's foot right to 3B for an easy force out.
Lesson learned: SS, 3B, and the lefty 1B on Titan UP throw strong and accurately, accounting for three fairly infuriating baserunning outs.
Craig cranked his homer over the fence in LC to lead off the game. Harrison, Trena, and Dave all hit great.

Scared Hitless started the game with 8 men and 0 women, then 1 woman showed up at game time. Brad showed up just before his turn to bat, and Joe had kid duty and came late. Before Dave's 4th at bat, we told them to play 9 men, 1 woman.
With no one on base and 2 outs, we Sharks put together 10 straight hits. Then on D, with a runner on 1st, Harrison at SS went far up the middle on a hard grounder and flipped to Rich at 2B for a force.
Craig in LC and TroyM in LF each charged low liners for outs.

Craig and Harrison both homered to LC.
In the first, Brad at SS caught a fast, tough liner and threw to Chet at 1B for a double play. In the second, Harrison, Richard, Mike turned a good 6-4-3 double play.

In the 4th, Joe scored from first on TroyM's single, then TroyM scored from first on Rich's single
That is the way to respond to almost getting tied.
Brad played very good D at 3B, as did TroyM at SS. Troy did drop a deep pop up with a runner on 2B in the first, but he picked up and fired to Richard at 3B to beat the runner, but Fred called him safe. The next batter grounded one to Troy, who flipped to Joe, who threw late to 1B, but Fred called an automatic double play for not sliding or avoiding.
Craig homered past the right fielder, and Richard homered over RCF.

TroyM tripled off the fence to lead off the game, and TroyT beat a shift to triple to the fence.
Stringing hits together: batters 12, 13, 1, 2, 3 went 16 for 18 with 11 runs scored and 13 runs driven in.

Craig homered to deep right to get us within 1, but Brad crushed a line drive that the RC looked awful on but still caught, and Aaron hit a warning track ball. Troy tripled earlier to deep center.

Brad, Annie, and Dave had good hits in the last inning to put the tying and winning runs in scoring position, and Trena and Chet hustled to stay out of double plays, the latter of which came on an overthrow from the SS that went into the dugout to score Annie from 2B.
However, in the top of the inning, Joe at 2B got too ambitious in going to his left to field a ball, spinning and throwing to Harrison covering 2B, but throwing the ball into LF. Harrison later held a runner a bit too long before throwing to 1B. Trena in RF with bad verbal help from Richard in RC overran a catchable ball.
Craig crushed his triple low down the LF line.

Last Gasp's tattooed, female right fielder made a shoe string catch on Trena's liner in the first and nearly threw out Harrison going first to third in the 5th.
Craig hit a no-doubt homer over the fence in left, but TroyT had the biggest blow, a hard line drive that split the middle outfielders for a grand slam. Harrison hit his two triples on the screws as well, one to LF, one to CF.
Richard fought 3B to a draw, taking a hard grounder off the chest to nail a slow runner, but pulling the string on many throws to pull Rich off 1B twice. Probably 5 assists, 1 line drive put out, 2 weak throws. With only 3 OFers, Craig in CF ran down ~3 liners, Aaron in LF fought through Richard's often incorrect screams of "IN!" to catch ~3 deep drives, and Troy in RF got ~2. Dave struck out the awkward looking 2B perhaps twice.

Mike and Craig both homered to RF. Aaron's triple off the fence may have been more impressive.
