Last time VS had 7 mashers and 3 good women; this time, 3 mashers and only 1 woman. When we play them next time, we'll have to hit, hit, hit.
Craig's grand slam went to LC, the other homer to right. Harrison beat the shift and homered to LF. Troy M gapped his ball to LC as well.
Play of the game was an OF (TroyM @ LF? Craig @ LC?) - Harrison @ SS - Trena @ C to end the third. Harrison's throw was perfectly on target.
Aaron in RC had ~3 putouts, the best of which was a deep ball by one of the three mashers in the 5th that he turned to his right on then twisted back while running back.

Craig homered to deep RF. Actually, all the young guys as well as Aaron and Mike hit the ball hard. Annette subbed well with 2 hits.
Brad at 3B had ~3 good assists, the best of which was nailing the very fast Trevor in the 3rd.
Devin at P caught two good line drives, the first of which was a double play to snuff out a promising inning. The final out was unlucky in that Slim had been SS but had to leave when his daughter started crying, so the regular guy who returned played deeper in the hole else would have had a hard time catching TroyM's rocket. A hit would have left Rich at bat, Craig on deck as the tying run, and Mike as the winning.

With many minutes left, umpire Fred asked both teams if they wanted to continue. Both did, but after Craig homered, Brad was nowhere to be found, and Fred called the game.
Mike was on travel, and Dave injured his leg in a bike accident, so Tony filled in on 3 hours' notice.
Craig crushed his homers to RC and RF.
Rich at 2B in the 5th speared a low line drive and doubled the runner off first.
Two baserunning outs with the meat of the order coming up. Ouch.

Solid, solid D at SS by Troy, who got one double play back by lunging and catching a liner up the middle in the 4th and easily doubling off the runner from 1B.
Craig in LC ran down a good drive that should have split LF/LC to end the 2nd.
The AFoS right fielder made a nice catch of Chet's low liner to end the game, else we were in good position to win it, with our top coming up and their 6,7,8 due up.

Outside of two errors in the 3rd, Shark defense was good. Trena at 2B handled a hard one-hopper easily to end the 4th. Mike brutally struck one out on fouls with two high pitches in on the hands.

Despite quite a few dropped balls, the D was excellent. Harrison at 2B in particular ran nearly to the cones to catch a low looper to save the game in the 6th. Richard in LF fell but still caught Bill Allen's soft liner. The two Troys charged and caught 3 low liners for outs.
