Good D, especially by Richard and Annie in LC and RC. The one key gaffe came in the 6th. With none in, one out, runners on first and second, Tony Greicius hit a towering pop-up on the infield that neither Frank at SS nor David at 2B moved aggressively for. The ball landed near second, then spun wildly back toward 1B, leaving everyone safe.
Great hitting by Rich and Angel. With decent legs, Rich would have gotten two triples, maybe homers, but he scored every time up anyway.

Dreadful game. Rich made two outs on the bases, the latter being the third consecutive inning ended by a double play. Two balls dropped between Adrian and David in RC and RF. Josh in LC dropped a deep fly after a long run to his left. Bottom of the order reached safely 2 out of 12 times, and both got wiped out on double plays.

Angel again had the biggest hit of the day, the only ball over the fence. That shot gave us our first lead of the day, which we did not relinquish.
Adrian smashed one over LF for her double, Richard hit one over RCF, and Mike beat the RF for theirs. At Loma Alta, those are probably home runs.
Brad and Mike had perfect days at the plate, which kept the team in the game. Annie also had a back breaking hit to cap the scoring in the 5th.
Good D by Josh and Brad in LF and LC. Adrian in RC got burned by the hill on a liner in the first but figured out on the next liner in the second. Richard in RF caught a liner in the 4th and almost doubled the runner off first base but instead hit him in the back. Good pitching by Mike, getting enough outs each time through the top of the Gasp order.

Angel had the biggest hit of the day, a monster homer to center that ended up behind the opposite backstop. That shot gave us the lead for good. Richard had a close second, a grand slam over the fence in left to extend a 1-run lead to 5.
Frank at SS and David in LF fought the sun all game, but Frank had a big catch to end the 5th on a looper behind him and to his right.

Rich hit a good hard shot up to RRC that bounced onto the dirt of the other field.
More great D from SteveG at 3B, but the play of the day came in the 3rd. With 2 out, Mike threw three bad pitches to Eric Massey, who hacked at the last one and drilled it to CF off Mike's glove. Brad threw home too late to get the runner, but Mike cut the throw, trapping Eric, then threw to David, who ran at Eric, forced him to commit to going back to 1B, then threw to Angel for the tag.

Mitch led off with a high, deep drive to CF for a homer. Brad and then Richard hit balls to dead left over the fence.
Steve played great defense at 3B.
