Joe in RF made an excellent, lunging catch to his right to end the 2nd.
Adrian in RC made an excellent, charging catch to end the 5th and keep the game tied.
The I.P. manager, running from first, got nicked by the batted ball, but the umpire didn't see it. The Sharks protested that the nick was audible and that the trajectory of the ball changed, but the IP manager insisted the ball missed him.
Tony's homer cleared the fence in LC. Richard's homer went to dead center and ended up past the tires, prompting the I.P. manager to protest that the home run shouldn't count. Rich followed with a homer to deep center.
Tony's double was a deep fly ball caught in the out-of-play area just in front of the fence in LC, propmting the I.P. manager to protest that the batter should be out.
Joe had the key hit of the game that pushed the lead to 7, a double down the line that started out foul but sliced back. The IP manager began protesting but checked himself after a few words.
Steve pitched the first 3 innings, and Mike pitched the last 4. Jacob Berlin homered over the fence off each.

Both teams had 9 men, 1 woman, so everyone played with no automatic out after the first inning.
Brad's lineout in the 5th was a well-hit low liner that Brent Buffington made an excellent catch on. Tony, almost at 2B, drew a throw back at 1B, allowing Mike to score from third.
Mitch in RC made a nice catch of a sinking liner from Dave Seal to end the second.
Richard's first homer cleared the fence down the left field line. Richard's second was a liner to center. His double hit the top of the fence and bounced back.
Richard dropped a potential game-ending foul pop up, but Sheila at 2B fielded the next ball and flipped to Tony at SS covering second to actually end the game.

Last Gasp had only 7 men and 1 woman. After the first inning, a few of them threatened to stop playing. We provided a catcher the rest of the game.
With the bases loaded in the first, Annie lined one over 1B, which normally would have been a double. But with only 2 in the outfield, Gasp was slow to reach the ball, and Annie made it around for probably her first Shark homer, a grand slam.
Tony's and both of Brad's homers cleared the fence. Brad's first was hit very high and landed on the roof of the new building, rolled toward the field, and was caught by Stephen Zavala before it hit the ground. Rich's and Mitch's homers were inside the park.
While running out her swinging bunt up the 3B line, Adrian was hit in the head by the clearly unintentional (and somewhat lobbed) throw. That left her a little loopy after the game. She did make a nice catch in RC of a liner hit to her right.

Keep On Truck'n also had only one women, so the two teams agreed to skip the automatic out.
Richard, Greg, and Steve all put the ball over the fence. KOT hit at least 3 home runs: Marcus put one over, and the tall LF hit one over and one to RCF.
Game ended on a rare but correct call of a swinging bunt.

Holy cow: top of the order reached base safely in 30 of 32 plate appearances.
Big hit was Mitch's homer to LC in the first to put a lock on the lead. Richard's two homers were also over the fence. Rich's triple was a hard liner to dead center.
Richard at SS bobbled Fabiano's grounder to lead off the first, then gunned to Rich at 1B, drilling him squarely in the foot. Yet the key defensive play was the 6-3 double play to end the first with the bases loaded.

The fence finally got completed, though the trailers are still there. With left field playable, Tony and Steve each put one over, while Mike hit his homer to right.

In the 3rd, Rich tripled and stopped at 3B, but the throw went into the dugout.
Rich overran 3B in the 5th but managed to get a finger back ahead of the tag.
Steve in LF made a good running/leaping catch of a ball hit over his head in the 5th.
Tony Greicius put one on the opposing blacktop on the fly for a dinger.
Brad's one out was hit hard, as were his hits.

Dave's grounder spun oddly and hit Annie in the 2nd.
Frank went too far on Dave's fly in the 6th, then ran back to first, slipped on and past the bag, and got tagged out.
Tony smartly took second on his single in the seventh on the throw to third, allowing him to score on Mike's subsequent single.
Steve and Joe collided on a fly in the 4th, but Steve hung on.
Steve's F7 was a foul that nicked the tree, but the ump didn't call it.
Annie impressed both teams by going first to third and sliding in the 4th, but for naught.
